Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. — Matthew 28:19

At St. John’s we offer Jesus Christ, proclaiming him through the Scriptures, and receiving those who desire him.  Baptism is one of God’s means of grace, through which people are brought into his family.  Through baptism we are placed into the benefits of Christ’s death and resurrection (Romans 6)–a gift of grace.  We offer baptism to those seeking Christ and his kingdom.  If you wish to receive this gift for yourself or your children, please schedule through the church office at or 630 629-2515 x.118.  For children, we encourage the choice of Christian sponsors connected to the family who are willing to assume a role of prayer for the child and on-going encouragement in the Christian faith.  We also offer a brief orientation (30 minutes) for parents, describing our follow up ministries and how we can continue to serve you.
