What does it mean to "Live Out Loud"? To live unashamed of our faith, knowing that God is with us everyday, and that others need to share in the hope that is within us.
John the Baptist is a perfect example of someone who “lived out loud.” He was bold in his faith, declaring the good news of the coming Savior to everyone he met. He was not afraid of ridicule; he did not shy away from opportunities to share God’s word. All those whose paths crossed with John the Baptist knew without a doubt that he was a man of God. “A voice of one calling in the desert; preparing the way for the Lord, making straight paths for Him.” – Isaiah 40:3
In the same spirit, the St. John’s Live Out Loud Ministry works to extend Christ into the community by sharing our faith with others and having fun in the process. We sponsor community-oriented events where all are welcome to enjoy the fruits of the Spirit.
SUMMERFEST A week-long Vacation Bible School with activities for children and adults.
TRUNK OR TREAT Our very popular trick-or-treat event in the St. John’s parking lot, followed by a chili cookoff.
