Eucharistic Ministry For The Homebound

St. John’s Eucharistic Ministry serves our Homebound Members who are not physically able to
partake in Worship with the Congregation at Church.

“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:20

A typical monthly visit consists of fellowship and a Worship Service led by the Eucharistic
Minister that includes a personal confession reflection, the reading of Scripture and the Holy
Gospel and the delivery of the Lord’s Supper via Pastor-consecrated sacred elements.

“Do this in remembrance of me” Luke 22:19

The Ministry is led and overseen by the Senior Pastor and is carried out by six commissioned
laymen Eucharistic Ministers.

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these
brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’” Matthew 25:40

If you or a St. John’s family member are interested in, or in need of, a Eucharistic Ministry visit,
please contact one of the Pastors or the Church Office.

For the Word of God is active and alive.
